Dr. Miller published a non-technical article in the August 2020 issue of JOM, entitled “The Future of Materials Science in Academia: Landing Your First Faculty Position.” Written for graduate students and post-docs with who intend to apply for faculty positions, Dr. Miller’s article outlines the application process and gives advice from the perspective of a young faculty member who has just gone through it (a couple times).
