Dr. Tori Miller won the TMS Young Leaders International Scholar – JIM Award, which sent her to Japan for the Japan Institute of Metals and Materials (JIM) meeting, where she gave a talk entitled “An updated interpretation of particle stimulated nucleation of recrystallization.”

As part of the award, Tori will also write a JOM magazine article describing her travel.
